“ Dr Pirotte is a great eye doctor! He is the one that recognized my son needed vision therapy after he failed his eye exam in Kindergarten. We had gone to him as a second opinion, after the initial doctor wanted to put him in a pair of glasses with extremely powerful prescription. That made me concerned. With a referral from a friend, we went to see Dr Pirotte. He agreed he needed glasses, but explained that the script we were given was too much for a small child when they had never been in glasses before. And he said my son would struggle with school unless he went through vision therapy. I’m glad we went along with his suggestions. My son is now 25, and was told 4 years ago when he was enlisting in the Navy that if it had not been for the vision therapy when he was younger, he most likely would have been denied the opportunity to enlist.
