Dr. Patrick Pirotte is the founder and CEO of Child and Family Eye care in Wichita Kansas. He also started and created the dedicated vision therapy clinic called VEO. VEO is a Spanish word which means “I see”.

Dr. Ann Marie Sparacino is the newest addition to the Child & Family Eye Care and VEO family. She was raised in Salina, Kansas and attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology. She has always had a passion for helping children to succeed in school and worked as a tutor for all ages and abilities throughout college. She learned of Dr. Pirotte and his residency program in 2014 and immediately began pursuing the goal of someday completing his residency in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy.
Dr. Sparacino graduated from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2021. During optometry school, she represented her college of optometry on a national level as an AOSA Trustee and member of the AOA Sports & Performance Vision Committee. Dr. Sparacino was awarded the Good-Lite Pediatric Award and the COVD Excellence in Vision Therapy Award for her passion for children’s visual development.
After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Sparacino was honored to be selected as the 12th and final resident at Child & Family Eye Care and VEO. She has since joined the practice full-time and is excited to continue providing the highest quality care to her patients. Her goal is to provide her patients with clear, comfortable, sustainable vision that allows them the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Dr. Sparacino enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Todd, and their two dogs, Rocko and Matilda. In her spare time, she loves traveling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family. Dr. Sparacino is thrilled to be a part of the Wichita community and looks forward to serving families like yours.
Camie is our newest Vision Therapist at VEO. With three years experience and 3,000 clinical hours, she is ready and currently working toward her Vision Therapist certification through the College of Vision Development under Dr. Pirotte Fellow at COVD. Camie has quickly become a valued member of our team. Managing the computer-based Vision therapy program we use, she is always updating and creating custom protocols for each and every patient. Eager to learn, and always studying Vision Therapy, she brings the most up-to-date techniques and methods to our office. Camie brings the ability to genuinely connect with kiddos, a listening ear and a caring heart to VEO. In addition to Vision Therapy, Camie is also a board-certified and licensed Esthetician specializing in Bridal Makeup- she is currently a part of three traveling hair and makeup teams in Kansas. Married with two kiddos, Cats, a dog, and plenty of plants. In her limited free time; she loves to sing, play piano, ukulele and she also paints. Camie is an artist at heart and loves helping children in Kansas.
